Like most Americans, I grew up believing that wine was “fancy” and only to be enjoyed with “fancy” foods like caviar, filet mignon, and foie gras. At 42 years of age I’ve decided that such thinking is fantastically ridiculous. Wine is for everyone and whatever food you want to enjoy with your glass is exactly the pairing.
